Celeb Poker Tournament To Help Cerebral Palsy
July 1, 2008
Hollywood and poker are an odd couple that work great together sometimes and should be kept apart by all means (Lucky You) at other times. Hopefully this is one of those times that they work well together because a lot of people are counting on both factors to help in the battle against Cerebral Palsy.
The Hollywood Park Casino (in Los Angeles) will be host to a celebrity poker tournament scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd in hopes of benefiting the One Step Closer Foundation. One Step Closer (a non-profit organization) helps to try and ease the lives of people living with Cerebral Palsy.
The buy-in is set at $500 with $100 re-buys for the first 90 minutes and some of the guests slated to attend include: Jennifer Tilly, Jamie Gold, Norm MacDonald, Montel Williams and Ben Affleck.
The event is being dubbed the All In for CP Celebrity Charity Tournament and will also include a silent auction for the charity. Anyone can attend and play, so for more info check out their website: www.allinforcp.org or call 281-740-8604.
