Bodog Poker Giving Away To Seats to WSOPE This Sunday

Bodog Poker’s Euro Main Event semifinal set for this Sunday guaranteeing at least two VIP Euro Main Event Prize Packages valued at $24,000 each

It’s time for online poker players to earn a seat to Europe’s biggest event of the year, the 2008 World Series of Poker Europe* Main Event. This Sunday, Sept. 7, at 3:15 p.m. EST, Bodog Poker will host its Euro Main Event Semifinal, and on the line are at least two guaranteed VIP prize packages to Europe’s main event in London valued at $24,000 each. Each prize package includes a seat to the championship event, roundtrip airfare to London, high-end car service to and from the airport, luxury hotel accommodations, spending money and exclusive Team Bodog player gear and apparel.

Online qualifiers are still running daily up until the event this Sunday at BodogLife.com, with buy-ins as low as $1. The direct buy-in to the event is $500 + $40.

The 2008 Main Event is scheduled to take place on Sept. 27-Oct. 2 in London, England. The six day tournament will feature the biggest names in poker and is an official bracelet event. For the first time, it will be broadcast by ESPN in the United States.

At the inaugural main event in London last September, Bodog online qualifier Matt McCullough of Cherry Hill, N.J., earned the distinction of being the last American standing when he finished third out of a field of 623 players. The impressive finish saw McCullough returning home from London $766,674 richer.
